A national youth forum has been included in the “Young People’s Image in Society” project, whose main objective is capacity enhancementand encouragement of young people participation in social processes. The project topic emphasizes on the image young people have builtin our society – the vision which has been formed by the society is closely related to the self-confidence of the youth and their position insocial life. All these aspects have a large impact over the young people’s active participation in civil society. The above mentionedinterrelation will be discussed by the meeting participants. The final results of this discussion will be presented for the needs of the NationalYouth Strategy in Bulgaria and the Framework for European Cooperation in the youth field. All the participants in the meeting arerepresentatives of Bulgarian non-governmental organizations. The meeting will host sociologists, politologists and journalists whoseactivities are connected with the “Young People’s Image” in Bulgaria. The project will be carried out in partnership with the “Youth Activitiesand Sports” Directorate, Varna Municipality and in cooperation with the State Agency for Youth and Sports. A National Youth Exposition“We Are the Image of the Young People” will be organized within the framework of this project.
