YET – YOUNG ENTREPRENEURS’ TRAINING - PERSONAL PORTFOLIO System of Developing Entrepreneurial and Project Skills and VOL - Self-Learning Programme and Multilingual Glossary for Entrepreneurs in the EU
The project YET aims to provide support to young people with higher education qualifications and difficulties of entering the labour market on the improvement of entrepreneurial and project management skills enabling them to create new partnership/corporate enterprises in the sectors of Food manufacturing, machine manufacturing and engineering and software development suppliers. The partnership, 9 partners in 5 countries, have identified through several studies and statistics that there is an increasing number of young people finishing their superior studies and not getting a job in almost all the countries in the EU. To contribute to the minimisation of this problem the partners will develop a YET Programme and personal portfolio, using the integration of modules developed by previous Leonardo projects and new modules developed by the partners which will offer these young people the possibility of developing entrepreneurial competencies and to establish themselves as self-employed. The main products of the project are: (1) the YET personal Portfolio in which are registered the results of their self-assessment of skills, attitudes, competencies, personal features, motivation, etc. Based on these results they are able to select the modules they need from the XYET Programme; (2) Programme including several modules addressing soft skills (motivation, self-esteem, etc) several exercises and test results, monitoring of own progress and self-evaluation facilities and tools, reflection processes and inputs and partnership work among other issues.
