The project envisages to enable the mobility of education through the participation of teachers and management in organized methodological and perfecting language skills courses. Cooperation with the ADC College will raise the quality of education in the areas of motivation for learning , the use of participatory methodologies in teaching and care for the professional development of employees and maintaining the motivation of teachers at a high level . Targets provide : - Increasing the share of activating methods in teaching, in particular the participation of the project method in class , which will result in the development of key language and social skills - Improving the attractiveness of classes through the use of innovative teaching techniques , which will improve students’ attendance at extra-curricular activities - Strengthening the skills of staff, motivating the continuous development and maintenance of a high level of motivation to work - Establishing international cooperation in the sectors similar to the school 's profile - Creating an international network of teachers sharing knowledge and experience in teaching English - Developing a system to motivate teachers The project provides mobility of seven English teachers and one representative of management. Secondary School Complex No. 4 is an institution with a rich offer of language teaching, giving the opportunity to confirm students’ language skills through Cambridge certificates. Training for teachers of English is a prerequisite to obtain quality education at the highest level . The partner of the project provides training for teachers conducted by experienced and qualified staff. The partner is accredited by the British Council and was awarded the " Best Practice " by the Polish and German National Agency . The main activities are: - Mobility of staff to the ADC College - Completing courses " Creative methodology " and " Managing and Developing Self and Others " - Completion of a six - month period of implementation of the acquired methods in collaboration with mentors from the ADC College - Dissemination of project results outside the institution by organizing a presentation, creating a page devoted to the project and a social network of teachers on Facebook - Quantitative and qualitative evaluation of the project using reports on the dynamics of external examinations results, teacher observations, monitoring of student’s attendance at extracurricular activities, analysis of surveys conducted among students and teachers and graduates’ career monitoring - The use of knowledge and experience acquired during the training for writing projects for student mobilities in the Erasmus + program Expected results of the project are : - Improving the quality of education in the institution resulting from the introduction of effective and activating learning methods - Increasing motivation for learning among students by improving the attractiveness of school activities and school offer by the introduction of Erasmus + projects. - Increasing attendance at extra-curricular activities - Improving pass marks in external examinations - Increasing the number of Erasmus + projects - Increasing the number Cambridge language certificates obtained by students - Increasing staff motivation by providing attractive forms of training - Preventing burnout of teachers Secondary School Complex No. 4 in Wejherowo is the largest secondary school in the district. 60 % of students attending our school live in villages or small towns . Increasing the quality of teaching and attractiveness of educational offer will help students acquire language skills at a level that will allow them to compete with students from large cities. More efficient working methods in preparing for language certificates will increase the chance of formal confirmation of acquired language skills.
