The changing European reality creates an urgent need to prepare young people for the difficult role of being an active participant in modern market economy. Zespół Szkół Nr 10 im. Stanisława Staszica in Warsaw is taking action leading to improve the quality and enhance the usefulness of qualifications and skills of students by organizing international apprenticeships available in the ERASMUS + program. The priority of our project is good preparation of graduates for their role as modern market participants with the knowledge of foreign languages, open to other cultures and equipped with needed professional qualifications adapted to the ever increasing requirements of employers. Improvement of the mobility of students based on international cooperation is part of the European School Development Plan.In our mobility project, which is part of the "Erasmus +", international work placements are organized for students trained to be economists, freight forwarders and IT professionals.10 economists, are to have a 3-week internship in Berlin, the European centre of business.The dates are: 05/03/2018 - 03/23/2018. The internship will be organized in collaboration with BERLINK ETN GmbH company.The training program, agreed with the German poject partner, includes the following modules: practical improvement of the German language, getting to know with how the company operates in an internal and external environment, commercial documentation, personnel policy, accounting with the use of accounting and financial programs and marketing activity of the company in the market economy. Berlin is an ideal place for vocational training for economists as it occupies a special place on the economic map of Germany and is a major centre for financial services and trade in the country and in Europe.The company responsible for organizing the internship for freight forwarders is another German partner - Das Team des EUROPA-DIREKT e.V. from Dresden.Agreed dates registered are:Group I - 03.06.2017 - 03.31.2017Group II - 03.05.2018 - 03.30.2018EUROPA -DIREKT works with companies in the field of freight forwarding and logistics including Deutsche Post, DHL, DACHSER, the logistics centre Volkswagen - Zentrum Dresden and the Media-Logistik GmbH company, which allows for effective implementation of the program of apprenticeships for freight forwarders.ADC College, based in London, will hold 4-week work placements for IT specialists in London's IT businesses in the following dates:Group I - 27.02.2017 - 24.03.2017Group II - 26.02.2018 - 23.03.2018The multiculturalism of London will contribute to the shaping of attitudes of openness, understanding and tolerance. These are very important features, useful both in life and in work, in the era of globalization of the European economy.The cooperation between Zespół Szkół Nr 10 im. Stanisława Staszica and ADC College has been one of the lasting results of previous projects implemented jointly under the Leonardo da Vinci and Erasmus + programs.Partners will make every effort to ensure that the project objectives are realized with the highest quality.The main objectives of the project are:- Improving the quality and attractiveness of vocational education;- Expansion of international cooperation in the implementation of best forms of internship; - Acquiring practical professional skills on European level;- The improvement of social and organizational skills;- Use of the latest information and communication technologies in the educational process;- Improving the professional command of foreign languages: German and English;- Increasing the mobility of students and their teachers;- Development of tolerance towards cultural, ethnic and religious diversity;- Increasing employment opportunities on the European labor market.Before leaving for an internship, the participants in the project can count on the linguistic, cultural and pedagogical preparation. Each intern, after the successful completion of the internship, will receive a certificate from the foreign partner of the project and the Europass Mobility document in both Polish and English, which significantly helps to find a satisfying job, not only in Poland but also on the European labor market. Another attractive feature of the participants' future resumes will be the references from companies in which the students will work. The basis for completing the internship will be the students' evaluation obtained on the clearly determined criteria based on the European Credit Transfer System for Vocational Education and Training (ECVET). This system will be part of promoting future graduates of our school with the use of the effects of learning abroad for further education and professional development.
