World 2.0: on-line vs. off-line

World 2.0: on-line vs. off-line is a training based on non-formal education methods reflecting the situation of the current world in which a real and a virtual world (made of new technologies) are constantly interacting. Being surrounded by new media and technologies in our everyday life in our real worlds it is very important to learn to use all the available tools in a proper way which protects our privacy as well as privacy and rights of the others.The training title inspired by the term Web 2.0 is an iteractive users´ generated content kind of training – which means that participants are active part during all of its phases which allows them to perceive new information as well as share their own experience with others. The 7 day long training consists of three phases: I. on-line preparation phase prior to the training, II. a week long training which will take place near Roznava in Slovakia from 14th to 21th of July 2011, III. dissemination of results (video campaigns produced by participants) in their countries. Through all phases of the training participants will continuosly analyze and learn about interactions between real and virtual world through various sessions on current hot topics as well as through practical exercises.24 participants from 12 countries from EU, South Europe, East Europe and Caucasus will learn how to efectively live and interact between the two worlds which we are surrounded by and learn to use all the available tools to make this interaction efficient (for individuals as well as bigger groups such as organizations). They will also learn how to prepare and launch a simple media campaign free of charge to use this tools in a valuable way to make a positive impact on the real world.
