PROJECT
FINISHED
This application "work your school - find work after school" is based on the results of our school evaluation which took place in 2013. In the evaluation we were given certain tasks for improving our school, one of which was to strictly systematize our work. The evaluators saw some ways for the further development of our school management and our work-quality. We would like to work together with European partner schools that are already very successful in this field. We are planning to do this for our students who can then find jobs more easily after their education at our school.
It is also important to mention in this application that we want to add bilingual subjects to our school agenda and our teaching staff needs further education and courses for this task. We also see this as an innovative step, as such subjects will help common European work. We are planning to submit an application for Key Action 2 in 2016 and see the present application as a means of help to reach certain goals in the coming application. Some activities are also being done at present in this respect for example on the eTwinning platform. We are also buying new types of media for our students and our school. This will also help to lower the need for travelling so much and help to protect ressources.
The school's headmaster as well as the Erasmus+ - coordinator would like to travel to Slovenia to job shadow Slovenian colleagues at school management and their quality work. Those parts of the project taking place in Spain, Belgium and France would be done by colleagues from different fields of teaching. After their part in the project, they are supposed to hand in a concept how to teach bilingually for the quality manual of our school. The two colleagues teaching Economics are to visit English classes in Ireland to help them teach Economics in English in the future.
It is our aim to bring our school into a new era, in which it presents itself as a school that helps young people to get into work more easily and also our colleagues to gain new knowledge. This knowledge can also help them to feel well in their job, something which is very important for good teacher health.
Each activity is to be evaluated after it has happened. This is also to help improve parts of the project which are still to come. At the end of the whole project, there will be a complete overview in which the acquired information will be presented and documented for future reference. The documentation will take place in the quality manual of our school that can be accessed by everybody.
