The project "European Voluntary Service - over borders" starts from the participation of two volunteers from Ukraine. Each of them will take 12 months of voluntary service in Poland, in the capital of Warmia and Masuria region - Olsztyn.Volunteers will engage in action in 2 various host organizations: in municipal kindergarten and a non-governmental organization. They will all work in the field of education, but have different focal points of their actions. The project manages to find new opportunities for cooperation and build dialogue in many contexts. Cooperation and communication between volunteers, host organizations and other partners will be an important link in the creation of a network of international contacts and co-operation between Western and Eastern Europe, which will operate primarily through volunteers. This next appeal to the idea of social work in the field of education in local communities and its promotion raising awareness of young people and adults on European issues, which is the most important objectives of the project. The project also aims to promote dialogue between people of different cultures, nationalities, generations as a contribution to the European Agreements.It is also an attempt to shaping a European awareness among all involved personal within social-, professional-and self- orientation of the participants. The project volunteers will present the idea of cross-border cooperation in workshops and meetings e.g. at schools and high schools of Warmia and Masuria region.
