Wir lernen von europäischen Partnern im Bereich bilingualer Anfangsunterricht, Methodik u. Didaktik, Jahrgangs- und Fächerübergreifend
Start date: Jun 1, 2015, End date: May 31, 2017 PROJECT  FINISHED

Due to the increasing demand of coping with complex circumstances in the class room, such as migration or inclusion – strengthening the capability of mentoring learner groups of internal differentiation together with the assignment of innovative concepts of teaching and the inclusion of new methods are, among others, the reason why we want to experience an exchange with other bilingual primary schools of Europe and improve our skills. The twelve teachers and educators who will assist and work in Spain and Finland represent the expert panel of our bilingual primary school. Furthermore, we cover the expertise of working areas concerning bilingual full-time schools and provide diverse individual dispositions and aims to achieve improvement within the intercultural dialogue. A group of colleagues will go to the Spanish-Finnish school in Helsinki and deal with subjects such as structures, methodology and didactics of bilingual alphabetization. A year later, a group of colleagues (of the grades 4-6) will go to Finland and mainly deal with subjects such as “Models of organization concerning the integration of migrants – career changers and the use of modern technology.” Five educators and teachers will attend our German-Spanish partner school in Seville in terms of a working-assistance residence. They want to become acquainted with the full-time education, starting from the age of three, in collaboration with a multidisciplinary working team. They will be able to experience, among speech therapists and occupational therapists, the organization how to implement inclusion within learner groups of internal differentiation and so be able to affiliate the latter with the bilingual curriculum. Hence, they will promote innovative ideas for the pedagogical discourse at the Hausburgschule. In addition, two colleagues of this group will attend a language course and achieve a certificate according to the European Reference Framework. A steady communication and close contact with bilingual schools with Spanish as a second language or first, accordingly, is fundamental for our school to preserve the sociocultural background and culture of our pupils. Therefore, two colleagues will attend and work at four schools in Spain. Together with the Spanish local colleagues, they will exchange and analyze didactically prepared material, methods and the targeted use of digital technique for learning methods. The teachers will not only enhance the lessons with these new asset but also initiate the contact and exchange between pupils of different countries, inter alia via Skype, Blogs and letters. All colleagues will document their stay with, for instance, photo exhibitions, recordings, video sequences, work products of pupils, blogs, eTwinning contacts and personal experience reports in all panels. Hence, the staff of the Hausburgschule will be able to follow the project transparently. The selected colleagues will provide valuable impetus, suggestions and impulses for the qualification of pedagogical labor at the Hausburgschule.
