After identifying the training needs of our teachers (TNA/ Training Need Analysis conducted in 2013) the Private Secondary School "Peta Gimnazija" with location in Skopje and Struga decided to apply for mobility project including 6 teachers in different subjects. -2 teachers will take an English course (Intensive course 30 hours a week) in Ireland (10 days in September 2014) s. more: http://www.arenaschool.com/courses-and-fees/73 - teachers will take an English course (Intensive 14 hours a week) in Spain (2 weeks in September 2013) in BCN Languages in Barcelona, Spain.s. more: http://www.bcnlanguages.com/en/courses-english-barcelona/1/7/ -2 teachers will participate on a Training "Training Technology Enhanced Learning" in Malta (two weeks in November 2014) s. more: http://www.etimalta.com/teacher-training-malta/teacher-training-tel/ OBJECTIVES With this mobility are aiming to: - improve the English language skills of teaching stuff/ minimum B2 level (based on their previous knowledge) in order to follow and implement the newest developments in their subject in their teaching; ( this refers to the training in Ireland and Spain) - skill the teachers to implement most modern IT methods in their teaching; (this refers to the training in Malta) - improve individual IT skills of the teachers in order to implement the methods and tools; (this refers to the training in Malta) - to enable the teachers to experience authentic teacher- student interaction in a role as students (this refers to all trainings) - develop strong inter-cultural skills of the teachers by communicating with people with different cultural background (this refers to all trainings) -to immerse the teachers in the target language and culture of the host country throughout (all trainings) their stay (this refers to both trainings) - to improve the networking of the school with possible partners from other countries (esp. in the training for IT methods in teaching) PARTICIPANTS: 6 teachers in total form different subjects. The participants will be previously selected, based on strong selection criteria. IMPACT: For our school: - we will have more skilled teachers (improved English language skills, improved understanding of ITC tools) - we will improve the image of our school; - we will be more experienced in mobility projects and able to apply each year; - we will improve our networking on international level. Through the whole process we will use Project Management tools.
