The Foundation you can More to meet the current needs of the labour market in Świętokrzyskie region has planned for students of upper secondary Schools Team in Sandomierz and Schools No. 1 in Opatów, studying in the profession of the Cook 3 three weeks internships abroad in the UK. In the project we have planned premium 32 students in the profession of the Cook of the schools of Opatów and 16 students in the profession of the Cook PZSE of Sandomierz.
Probably compatible with foreign language training will be organized in Turkey by a professional school of tourism services (T.C. MİLLÎ EĞİTİM BAKANLIĞI) in Ankara and in England by Polaris EU Enterprise Limited in professional restaurants.
The aim of the project is to increase the professional competence of students in the field of gastronomy and exactly know Turkish and English for practical, to promote cooperation and mobility between education and training systems in the EU and to prepare young people to make use of the experience and knowledge gained on the labour market. In addition, the project will have to get to know the culture, the traditions and methods of organization of the work of the host country, and support the mobility of young workers in the labour market. The project will also increase the opportunities for young people, especially that of the difficult social backgrounds to gain employment after finishing education and increase their mobility in the job search. Internship at the renowned restaurants on the European level will allow students to broaden experience in future profession, gain knowledge about customer service systems and deepen knowledge of the trade of the English language. The project will enable participants to take advantage of the professional experience of the British partner, and Turkish, and thus will enable the expansion of substantive knowledge in the functioning of the foodservice industry in the partner country. Participation in the internship will provide an opportunity to compare the training methods in the UK, Turkey and Poland, and adjust them to the requirements of the employer. The project responds to the needs of reducing unemployment among the learners in the profession of the Cook and the labour market needs of graduates of high qualification and professional skills and, above all, experience at a high level. The project is also combating exclusion risk professional, because long exposure outside the profession combines precisely with such risks. The project also responds to the need to develop entrepreneurship among young people, openness and rapid response to change and the movement of workers on the European labour market as well as the promotion of the region and the school (to improve the level of education and increase its attractiveness and competitiveness in the local market of education), will satisfy the needs of employers regarding the employment of highly skilled employees with experience at international level.
The added value of the project will be a confirmation of the skills acquired by accepted and recognised in all EU countries, Europass mobility, getting traineeship certificates certified by the partners of the project and summary certificates classes for in-service training. As an institution we are transmitting high quality projects and project results will be disseminated in the media, among students, parents, teachers, authorities and local employers.
