Association DESES3 is proposing a training course of European cultures called ‘where is the lottery’. This will take place in the autonomous community of Castile and Leon, in the province of either Valladolid or Zamora, depending on the preferences and choice of all participating associations. The resources of the course are comprised of the following activities: Group Dynamics, talks, lectures, simulation games / workshops, cultural games, icebreakers, debate tables, exhibitions, meetings, cultural visits, cultural evenings organized by each of the participating countries, entertainment activities and the possibility of future networking regarding association management and project presentation (with co-financing).The course will run during 10-17th of July, 2016 in a hotel in the province of Valladolid or Zamora. For 7 days, 32 young people from Malta, Croatia, Spain, Greece, Czech Republic, Portugal, Lithuania and Estonia will share their cultures with one another and work in several ways towards combatting unemployment and improving citizen participation in non-profit entities. Additionally, they will learn how to capitalize on the strengths and skills that they will acquire through participating in various committees and associations in the course’s host town. The methodologies used in this course include: teamwork, active participation and exchange of ideas, breaking communication barriers, intercultural harmony and linking commitment to cultural diversity. Non-Formal Education will be brought forward as a means of education and personal development. It will also be used to link PROJECT MANAGEMENT and ENTITY MANAGEMENT with UTILIZATION TOOLS AND CO-FINANCING, in order to fight youth unemployment – a major societal problem. The impact of the project will be reflected in REINVENTA-T, a guide which will be created during the course in which its activities will be recorded for the use of anyone interested.WHERE IS THE LOTTERY supports that young people can spread the changes they are able to achieve. In the course and through leaflets, link app, power point presentations and a CD compilation of all this material, we will create easy-to-use and helpful tools to familiarize us with the financial needs of citizens as well the importance of social movements. We believe that this training course will have a positive impact on the young people who will participate in it and that it will help them create a social conscience which they will be able to share in their home communities as well as in the community where the TC will be held. The associations will be in contact with local authorities and local representatives of our municipalities in order to disseminate the results of the TC, youth participation and the Erasmus + program at their locations.
