Wellamo Community College is applying for an international mobility project for adult education staff. WELLMOB 2 - project will provide the College staff an opportunity for international contacts and experiences. This project will meet the needs of the College to improve the expertise and attitude of its staff to adjust to the always evolving work environment in the future. Through this project we intend to develop entrepreneur like attitude, motivation and commitment to work. In the future we need even deeper know-how in our special fields of education, knowledge on new working and teaching methods, ability to plan, design and market our courses and education according to the demands and needs of our clients, the people of Lahti region. This training of the staff and acquired international experience will benefit our clients through even more innovative and modern curricula. We also aim to develop our staff’s ability to understand the bigger picture of education realizing new opportunities for synergies with other stakeholders and possible partners in order to evolve and make things better in the future. It is also important to develop our leadership, teamwork and project management skills. Wellamo Community College is applying for its almost 400 workers a mobility project for adult education staff including staff training courses/job shadowing placements as well as teaching/training assignments abroad. Through these courses and training experiences we will establish and maintain relationships to other adult education centers in Europe learning together and from each other. We will also meet our constant demand of evolving and training our staff.
