Participation in teacher refresher-courses in English-speaking countries within the EU for English teachers of secondary education as well as teachers of the bilingual profile. Aims: Enhancement of language skills, improvement of the cultural knowledge of the host country, establishment of networks with teachers of the partner countries, extension of didactical and methodical skills, exchange of teaching methods and the educational system with partner countries Participants: Teachers of secondary level as well as teachers of the bilingual profile Activities: Participation in teacher-refresher courses in language schools in English-speaking countries Project process: Teachers apply individually for the courses, pre- and post evaluation of the language department of the Neues Gymnasium Results and value: Enhancement of language skills, teachers as multipliers for other teachers, establishment of contacts with other schools within the EU, extension of methodical and didactical competences and skills, improvement of intercultural knowledge
