The EVS project is being carried out with the objective to promote the personal development of volunteers and young people involved in the activities and to increase their active participation in improving the quality of their own life. Within the framework of the project we will host two volunteers Yerazik Hakobyan from Armenia and Olga Levshukova from Ukraine.
During the project, it is planned to organise the following activities - "Armenian, ukrainian culture and traditions", Armenian, ukrainiana and english language lessons, cooking lessons, out door activities, , intercultural activities in cooperation with other EVS project volunteers and Erasmus students from Rezekne Higher Educational Institution, meetings in city schools in order to present EVS and programme Erasmus +.
To plan and organise activities we will use non-formal learning methodes such as ice-breaking activities, group works, brain storm,presentations, discussions, get to know each other activities, team building activities, simulation games and role plays.
Throughout the entire project volunteers will develop their skills in working with children and young people, as well as important life competences, for example, learn to cooperate and realize their ideas to life while in another environment, learn work in a team, to compromise, to agree on concrete steps to achieve the objectives and the skills they definitely come in handy later in life.
