We Are Together

The project "We Are Together" aims to promote tolerance and solidarity among people and cooperation in the youth field. 36 young people from six different countries (Georgia, Romania, Turkey, Azerbaijan, Ukraine, Spain) will gather in Telavi, Georgia, in order to overcome stereotypes and discrimination practices thought gaining theoretical knowledge and practical experience. Presentations, lectures, workshops and personal contact with people from different age, ethos, nation and culture will develop skills and knowledge why and how to fight again discrimination and exclusion of people. Learning, playing and working together will help the participants to feel like part of the same community, part of the European society. They will join the idea that religion, color of skin, age, gender, sexuality or social status can’t be an obstacle for friendship or partnership or community involvement. Meanwhile the project encourages European citizenship and inclusion of young people with fewer opportunities with social, economic or geographical obstacles.
