" We are the Future " is a gathering of 25-30 young people, coming from France, Germany, Turkey and Lithuania.
This exchange will take place from 6 till 27 July 2014, in the little village of Le Buisson de Cadouin in Dordogne, in partnership with the local structures (l'Amicale Laïque, le comité des foires, the EHPAD of Cadouin, the Cinema Lux, Leisure centers and game library " The children of 2 rivers ", the library, the sports associations) and the local population.
Already in 2013, a multilateral exchange had taken place in the village, which in this way started with the international projects.
So, this project puts a second stone to build a partnership, in long term vision, to offer perspectives of projects answering to needs and desires of the inhabitants, in particular the young people (eg: workcamps, youth projects).
This exchange is built around the artistic creation wich use as common tools the vocal and physical expression.
The objectives and the activities are arranged with all the partners there who are involved in all the stages of the project (preparation, realization).
The objectives that we settled:
- Local development : impulse a local dynamics by an international presence, to allow the inhabitants to appropriate of their living space.
- Intercultural, intergenerational and interpersonal learning : create links between European young people and inhabitants by using the creation as a tool of expression and fight against social exclusion.
- Technical learning : propose a place to discover its own potentialities of creation and put them in sharing to serve an intercultural collective project.
- Learning of the collective life: offer a place to exchange and awaken the emergence of various points of view while implementing concretely a collective project.
To reach these goals, the used method is not centered on the activity but on the individual ( non-formal educational method).
The implemented activities will turn around workshops who will watch to favor:
Discovery of the territory and its development
Meeting local partners, association and inhabitants: concerted actions
Workshops of artistic expression and creation
Presentation of artistic performances with the possible participation of the inhabitants
Presentation / participation during local events, and/or regional
Exchanges and informal meetings
