"We are sustainability" is a project aimed to 15 vocational students from Marketing, Events Organisation, Tourism and Secretariat from disadvantaged socio-economic backgrounds. All of them will be at the time of the mobility in the 3rd year of their vocational course which includes training in the workplace as part of their formation. "We are sustainability" follows two previous projects, which support the success of each of its participants and, consequently, of our institution with very positive results as well as impact. This mobility aims not only the acquisition and application of technical and vocational skills inherent of the vocational field of each trainee, it aims also to acquire innovative and differentiated skills and learnings (as well as for each direct or indirect stakeholders) that may contribute to the improvement and modernization at medium / long-term of our institution to reach the quality and excellence of all actors, especially those who are the receivers of all the teaching-learning process. This project provides a unique opportunity to experience the world of work and the “real” world in an international context, to contact with other people and other cultures, to acquire valuable tools for an oriented personal and career success . Most of our young people only know their city and their region. They lack of motivation and goals. They have difficulties in projecting themselves in the future. They need to understand the cultural diversity, that tolerance and respect are fundamental in the all process, that responsibility is not only personal, but also social. They need to strengthen and / or acquire skills and knowledge that promote their relationship with themselves, the others and the world. The contours of this mobility, the way it has been defined, the conditions created and designed for participants are the leverage needed to fostering the proposed results. It is intended to be created, through this mobility, a privileged space for personal and professional growth, as it has been observed in previous experiences. This project is therefore a positive and fruitful instrument of combating failure and early school dropout. It is a way to promote equal opportunities, especially if comparing with young people from other environments and other emotional background, including part of our students in larger initiatives, trusting in their abilities and giving them the tools necessary for success. The impact of the results of previous years is increasingly palpable: there is an increased motivation, a greater commitment, a greater sense of responsibility in a large number of students that, based on testimonies from ex- participants, look forward now to also integrate a Erasmus + personal and professional experience . "We are sustainability" will increase an essential intrinsic stimulus in the individual: the motivation necessary for everyone to face the future with uniformity, commitment and satisfaction, ensuring therefore a collective investment in the quality of our institution. Thus, the objective of EPCESPARD is to increasingly open the doors to Europe and the world, collaborating efficiently on all projects that promote more and better education, creating in the medium term the conditions necessary to also be the host institution of the various learning initiatives and mobility promoted by the Erasmus + program.
