Nowadays the people with fewer opportunities are at the bottom of the society. We came with the idea to combine theater, nonverbal communication and expression to offer different approaches when working with young people with fewer opportunities. This is EVS project with duration of 18 months will be happening in Skopje, the capital city of Macedonia. The main theme of the activity is working with young people with fewer opportunities, through non verbal communication and theater. The two volunteers coming from Germany already have experience in working with this target group. This project is made to encourage active participation of young people facing specific disadvantages in the society. The volunteers will have workshops with 30 young people aged 14-20 years old (2 groups, 60 participants in total). They will work with them twice per week leading workshops based on non verbal communication and theater. The workshop last for 1 and a half hours. Together with the coordinator the volunteers will find the best methods to deliver the workshops for them. During the workshops they will use the methods and techniques of non formal education. Among the workshop that the volunteers will facilitate they will organize different events where will be invited different target groups to participate. At the end of the cycle will be organized big theater performance where the actors will be the young people from the School. This will be event where will be participating 250 guests. Each month the volunteers will write news mail on their stay here and the work that they do. This will be shared with the local partner organization, members and on our and our partner fb and webpage.
