Our Foundation will host 8 volunteers in different periods 6,9,10 months from Germany, Spain, France, Macedonia and Poland. At the same time we are planning to send two volunteers - for 6 months in Portugal to do service in one of the most active there organizations and for 2 months - a disadvantaged youngster to Poland who will be working at a foster care centre. A main focus of the project is also the social and cultural diversity and European values and it will be developed in a club at the culture house in Beloslav, with the informal volunteer group The Dolphins- PTPI and and in the German culture club at the Varna High School of Trade. The volunteers will receive the needed methodical and personal support to perform their activities in the field of non-formal education with the children and youngsters - workshops in art, languages, sport, help in school preparation, prevention of aggression and cyber-bullying, animation of sick children and children with disabilities, festivals and carnivals, sports events, public awareness campaigns, social work, charity campaigns. For the beneficent disadvantaged youngsters we expect to increase their motivation for study and inclusion in European projects, foreign language competences and most of all their joy and self-confidence. A long-term benefit will be the improved adaptivity of the volunteers to employment and education markets as a result of their newly developed competences in languages, social work with disadvantaged youngsters, project implementation and leadership, independent life in an intercultural reality, team work. In its contact with the partners in the new Erasmus plus programme our foundation will acquire project experience and will develop new ideas for cooperation. All volunteers are going to receive efficient and inspiring mentorship, opportunity to influence the project with new ideas and a YouthPass certificate validating their non-formal experience and developed skills. The conditions for the project are perfect - Varna is a beautiful, modern city, there is a rich cultural life and international community here.
