The “€-volunteers can help - Inclusion for disadvantaged children!“ project aim is to involve 2 international volunteers selected based on nondiscriminatory criteria, in the activities and programs of Inocenti Foundation Bistrita for a period of 12 months programs.
By the “€-volunteers can help - Inclusion for disadvantaged children!” project we are aiming at both the personal development of the participating volunteers as well as contributing to the wellbeing of the vulnerable groups of children and the local community of Bistrita (with special focus on youngsters with disabilities, children in the hospital with health problems and Roma children). The volunteers will research, design and deliver new and sustainable youth-led non-formal activities within the programs Inocenti Foundation has for these groups of beneficiaries. In addition, they will work with local volunteers form Bistrita area in order to be the ones promoting the Erasmus+ learning mobility program and also to help in organizing visible events in the community like “Olympics for Special needs children”.
Having as direct beneficiaries at least 50 vulnerable children and young people and involving at least 15 local volunteers, the project will give opportunities for the international volunteers to get to know each other, interact and collaborate, develop confidence and self-esteem and increase their understanding between young people from different countries at the same time aiming to stimulate active involvement among the Bistrita community members, especially young people.
