Concordia Auvergne, in partnership with the sending organisation Citizens in Action, will host a volunteer for an 11 months EVS project called "Volunteering with Concordia Auvergne" in order to promote volunteering in the Auvergne region. The volunteer will be integrated into Concordia Auvergne's team in Clermont-Ferrand and will fully take part in our actions.As part of his actions, the volunteer will support Concordia Auvergne's work by bringing an international perspective. In this way, through his missions, he will promote youth participation and European citizenship, ensure the development of European projects and support the setting up of international work camps. All of these missions will take into account the motivation of the volunteer and can be adjusted if necessary thanks to the support of Concordia's team. This project aims to :- promote European citizenship in the Auvergne region;- improve the open-mindedness of local young people concerning living abroad;- strengthen the European and intercultural dimensions of youth activities in the area;- allow the volunteer to discover France and its culture, develop their general and interpersonal skills and learn a lot about themselves.
