The goal of the Volunteering for Fair Play EVS project is that a volunteer from Hungary carry out a 5 months long voluntary service in Albania, in a small town. The Association Profilantrop as a cultural anthropology association believes it's important, that through meeting of different cultures become better our personality, our knowledge and our horizon will be wider. During the time of the service the volunteer will work with the local community in Kukes. He will give information lectures in high schools and universities. Moreover he will implement an own project and try to put into practice. The project is about a method, which use new, Fair Play football rules as a tool of the democratic education. Through the organization of sport activities the volunteer will experience the responsibility and the voluntary initiative. The meeting with the importance of active participate, and democratic principles will be benefits for the local young people. They will learn also, how can people spend his/her free time useful and healthy. In local level the volunteer will be able to broaden the approach and thinking of the local young people about importance of the european integration, and the opportunities of the european mobility programs. The organisation in Albania has already a severel years of practice in the work with volunteers, the motivation of young people and in organization of sport programs. We trust, that the volunteer after the service will come back to Hungary with a lot of new experiences and good practices, and he can use his new skills during the dissemination at our organisation. The project will make positive impacts on the local community, on the hosting organisation and will develop the Association Profilantrop as well. The competence of the volunteer will improve through non-formal education methods, and his knowledge will expand about the European Union and about the Albanian culture and language, and in the field of sport as well. We plan a long cooperation with the albanian Youth in Free Initiative organisation. If this project was successful, we would like to send other volunteers and create exchange programs. After the EVS service the volunteer will continue his work at our organisation, and we hope, that he will be an active member of our voluntary team.
