The project called "Volunteering - Active Participation in Civil Society" offers that two volunteers join long-term EVS in "Os Quatro Cantos do Cisne" which is a non-governmental organization and also a youth association, funded in Santa Margarida, Constância -Portugal. In this association, volunteers could independently form the following activities: carrying out creative workshops for children and youth, ideas for promotion materials. This space is also an EURODESK place, which provide information about programmes, working possibilities,.. for YOUTH. They hellp us for EURODESK point. They could be actively incorporated in the everyday work at the association according to their abilities and capabilities. With all these works, it was aimed to provide European chance, employment opportunities for local young people / local citizen on the basis of equality of opportunity and volunteers can gain experience of the practical implementation about ensuring equality of opportunity. Additionally these young people with different cultures & educational background are able to work & produce goods for the same objective in multicultural environments and with the help of this, these volunteer studies are develop with new perspective. In project activities designed and the expected objectives actually offer the opportunity to realize the importance of contributing to civil society and people move through this transition to be active citizens with new experiences.
