The Volunteer for Youth project took place in Finland. A female Greek EVS volunteer was placed in Helsinki in Allianssi House which is the base of many organisations working in the field of youth work in Finland. The volunteer was assisting in a wide variety of tasks and had an excellent chance to learn about the field of youth work and youth activities in Finland. Her main activity was to promote volunteering, especially EVS programme through social media, she also assisted with practical tasks related to international youth mobility programmes Allianssi Youth Exchanges runs. The EVS volunteer was involved in promotional events, campaigns, school visits, training activities and also in assisted in two international short term volunteer camps in Finland in summer. Organisations in Allianssi House as well as other member and partner organisations of Allianssi were able to get more information on EVS programme and other possibilities the Erasmus+ programme offers through the activities run by the EVS volunteer. The presence of the EVS volunteer brought intercultural dimension to the house and enhanced the feeling of common Europe.
