Volunteca is aimed to be an innovative EVS stage meant to develop a range of activities of the host organisation that can benefit the youth community. At the same time, the project will offer valuable learning opportunities as well as key opportunities for the personal and professional development of the two volunteers involved in the project, who come from Spain and France respectively. The main topics of this EVS stage will be linked to the needs of the host organisation and community as well as to the learning and professional development needs of the participants, touching on important issues such as employability of disadvantaged youth, entrepreneurship and promotion of volunteering. The specific objectives of the project are:- to promote volunteering both among the participants in the stage and the young people in the local community as a valuable tool for enhancing skills and attitudes necessary on the labour market.- to increase employability among young people with fewer opportunities from the target groups by involving them in the non-formal activities proposed in the project.- to promote entrepreneurship among EVS volunteers and local youth as a means for one's personal and professional development.- to increase the institutional capacity of the Association as regards the management of international projects and to create a network of organisations working with youth. The activities set forward during this EVS stage will consist in organising workhops twice a week within the County Library. These workshops are designed for young people with ages of 14-30 and address topics such as entrepreneurship, employability, communication, social inclusion. The volunteers will use non-formal education methods to carry out the proposed activities. At the same time, the volunteers will participate in the setting up of a Local Volunteering Centre aimed to assist young people with fewer opportunities. The EVS volunteers will create promotion campaigns for the centre and will promote volunteering among young people while facilitating their access to mobility projects such as EVS.
