Voluneers for Sustainable Lifestyle

The "Volunteers for Sustainable Lifestyle" is a project for young people aged 18-30 years. During the nine-month project volunteers will be working at the headquarters of the Foundation CampoSfera placed in a small village on the border of świętokrzyskie, Malopolska and Silesia. Foundation is in the process of creating an Eco-centre of international and local projects. The main building renovation of the former school was completed in 2014, and in the following years the construction of seven cottages with the use of straw and clay building technique will begin. Volunteers will actively participate in the life of the Foundation through the program, which includes: - Help in the construction work of the clay and straw houses; - Help in maintaining the ecological garden; - Developing international partnership for Foundation CampoSfera; - Meeting with the local community: leading creative worshops and language classes, inspiring a group of local youth leaders. The project is designed to promote sustainable development and lifestyle and conscious approach to ecology. For the volunteers the project is an opportunity to gain specific skills in the field of natural building and organic farming, experience in groupwork, carrying out meetings and workshops. Long-term effect of the project will be broadening the horizons and tolerance of the inhabitants of Sedziszow municipality, as well as their language skills.
