Vocational training of apprentices from Balan-Romania in the enterprises from Valencia-Spain in 2016

Liviu Rebreanu Technological High School from Balan – Romania assures education and professional development for 250 students aged between 14 and 18 years. The main training activity is mainly performed in the technical domain with mechanics, electrics and electro mechanics specialties. As the local community has required, there also functions a waiter specialty class. The complexity and degree of the training is done in two levels: level 3 for the professional school and level 4 for the technological high school. The taking up of this project is based on students’ practical shaping needs, as a background for their professional training in factories or economical traders that should ensure specific professional skills at a high quality level. This project specific objectives are: 1. Achieving and reinforcing professional key abilities in mechanical domain; this will be realized by performing specialized work in companies that have various products and services, different activities and a lot of machines types. 2. Executing quality mechanical works throughout students are able to achieve new knowledge and skills 3. Personal and social skills development: preparing for jobs absorption, critical thinking, responsibilities assuming 4. Choosing a job approaches starting from a professional training in a specific qualification 5. Promoting democratic values to become responsible citizens of an open society 6. Language knowledge improvement, especially in a technical domain 7. Direct contact with the technical, artistic and cultural achievements of Spanish people, by visiting important cultural and touristic places Project participants will be 15 students in the 12th grade, mechanical specialty. The main project activity is a practical training internship that equals the merged internship provided by the Teaching Curricula for the technological high schools, technical domain, mechanic technician for maintenance and repairs, 12th grade. The training internship will take place over a three weeks period, within 90 hours of training in Valencia City from Spain, between 10 and 20 of April 2016. Students will be present at the working companies from 8 to 2 p. m. every working day, Monday to Friday, distributed on jobs. To fulfil the whole project in the best way possible, Liviu Rebreanu Technological High School, as a beneficiary and responsible for it, will go through the proper channels so that all the participant students are able to carry into effect their obligations in the right European level. We also consider that an important factor for the project’s success is efficient collaboration with Spanish partners, their professional and human quality. All of these will contribute a lot in project aims achievement. Each of the 15 participants will benefit of a well prepared training to realize a good quality project, in order to acquire a relevant professional, social, cultural, and educative behalf. At the end of the internship we wait for the following results: 1. New skills achievement in mechanical domain 2. Modern technologies applying in mechanical works 3. Raising awareness in doing a quality work 4. Raising foreign languages knowledge level 5. Receiving the Europass mobility and ECVET Certificates The awaited impact over the participants is related to a growing up in the working skills, in their behaviour, thinking and mentality. After such an experience they will be able to decide advisedly in their future, to go to a proper college or university, to work in a company or to establish their own one. For our high school this will be a new success, a prove of our earnest and responsibility, of the power to offer the students new ways of proposition, of varying possible practice partners, of attracting students to respected technical jobs. High school students from the next generations will have an example to follow, a higher level to achieve, they will have to prepare themselves more intensively and profoundly to have the chance of other internships in a foreign country.
