The goal of the project is the preservation of the cultural heritage, primarily multilingual and religious heritage and customs, and familiarization with the region on both sides of the border. The project and development of the tourism infrastructure, and the preservation of cultural, historical and natural values, helped increase the flow of information and familiarization with the tourism region. The growth of tourism also raised awareness among the region´s minorities about the importance of preserving and reviving cultural and natural values, customs and national awareness. Achievements: The information centre was opened in the attic of the Culture Centre; the playground was built by the local administration in compliance with the EU standards; three touring bike trails were given at disposal of visitors to the region; benches (20) and waste bins (10) were installed along the paths; an info-board with a map in the centre of the Municipality of Alsó szölnök and the tourist signs were set up in four locations; brochures (7500 copies), flyers (7500) and postcards (10,000) were printed
