The Project will be implemented from 01.02.2016. to 31.12.2016.The Project activities will be implemented within 9 days in Daugavpils city.In the project activities will take part 30 participants (5 young people at the age of 18-30 years from each country and 1 leader from each country) from Latvia, Turkey, Bulgaria, Italy and Romania. The Project aim is to give the young people the possibility to get acquainted with different cultures, in this way to fight with youth unemployment, to help young people to improve their basic competences – knowledge of different languages, communication, ability to live and work together with representatives of different cultures. The implementation of the project is necessary for the young people. It will give new possibilities to the local young people and young people from foreign countries to communicate with the different native speakers, gain experience and learn more about different cultures. Young people will improve their basic competences - knowledge of different languages, presentation skills, create new contacts, will get knowledge about different cultures and other countries’ traditions, they will learn how to evaluate their work and competences. All the above mentioned will help young people to increase their experience and competitivity and to make a successful career in the future. As the working methods will be used: acquaintance activities; morning activities, sport activities; icebreaking activities; non-formal activities; games which promote the team cooperation, verbal and non-verbal communication; presentations; questions-answers; discussions; public event; language master class; poster creation; group work; brainstorming; non-formal evaluation activities (individual, in pairs, in groups, common); quizzes; tasting of national food; the presentation of peculiarities of cultures, traditions, history of participants’ countries; creative work; creation of guidance paper; work on right pronunciation; excursion; brainstorming, world cafe; open space; songs; music; questionnaires; non-formal communication.Project activities: Acquaintance evening, morning exercises; icebreaking activities; non-formal activities; Programme ERASMUS+, Youthpass competences, Project aims and objectives; public presentations of languages (participants’ homework); “European languages”; “Evaluation”; “International evenings”; “Cultural iceberg”; Orienting game in Daugavpils city; Tasting other languages; Strategies of polyglots; language quiz; language stands; Visiting Faculty of humanities of Daugavpils University; Gallery of projects; “Tongue twister!”; “Fairytales language, love lyrics language, official language, slang”; songs evening; “Youthpass competences”; “promotion of cooperation”; “Evaluation of activities part”; Farewell party.Results: Young people from different countries will get new knowledge about other cultures, will learn more about traditions of different countries through the acquisition of languages within the project. The project participants will be motivated to acquire different languages; will be promoted the youth tolerance. The existing stereotypes about the representatives of different cultures will be broken within the project. There will be used different methods of studying of languages of different counties. Project will make a positive contribution in the fighting with youth unemployment because it will give the opportunity to improve competences that will be useful in the future to make a successful career, for example, knowledge of foreign languages, motivation and initiative, organizational competences.
