Our organization wants to broaden the scope of its work and involve more adult learners into continuous education and lifelong learning at our organization and beyond. We need to be able to provide opportunities for our learners to develop relevant skills that will help them become more attractive on the job market. Our domain of work is drama and theatre education and since there is an evergrowing need for digitalization of our resources and great compatibility of media production we decided to focus on providing high quality and engaging workshops for improvement of digital literacy and ICT competences, through creative drama workshops based in media production and video editing. Through this project we will send our staff, a pedagogue, a director, a teacher and an ICT technitian to a structured course on media production and video editing. We hope our organization will by this means attract more adult learners interested in improving their digital literacy and ICT competences through creative drama workshops based in media production and video editing and directly encourage at least 30 adult learners to take part in our workshops in the first year of the project and signifficantly improve their digital literacy and ICT competences while learning how to present them selves better by means of creating digital portfolios and thus becomming more attractive on the job market. We believe this will inspire people in our local community to take part in continuous professional development and lifelong learning. By the end of this project we expect to have standing structures (including organization, theoretical and practical know-how, empirical evidence, experience and testimonies from participants) put in place in order to integrate media production workshops and video editing in the regular ongoing programme of our organization.
