PROJECT
FINISHED
Nordland County Council (the Educational Department) is the organisation responsible for education on the upper secondary level. The upper secondary level consist of eneral studies, vocational studies and adult education.
This project is part of a larger strategy for in-service training of employees within the educational sector.
Regionally, there is a focus on implementing better and more flexible learning modules within the vocational sector. To improve teaching and learning, having an international perspective can be relevant and most useful. Looking abroad at 'good practice'-solutions is one way of achieving results.
The project has these objectives:
- Pedagogical and didactic approaches to teaching,
- Recognition, transparency and certification of learning outcomes
- learning more about international cooperation and international relations
The project aims at 16 mobilities over two years. The participants should be vocational teachers, staff from companies and staff working within career guidence.
Partners are from Holland, Denmark and Austria, covering a wide range of vocatioanal branches.
The 1-week mobility programs will consist of introduction to national syllabus, shadowing 'best practice', discussions with students, apprentices, teachers and trainers. Where applicable, ECVET will be a part of the programme.
The expected impact is improved understanding of alternative didactic approaches, learning modules and learning outcome. In teh long term these mobilities hopefully will encourage our organisations to make more use of Erasmus KA 1 and 2.
