Vet quality management system

The project aims the development of a quality assurance system based on the Common quality assurance framework to be common to all the partners involved and that can improve the effectiveness of the training systems in relation to the real needs of the companies facing changing productive processes. The partnership, 11 partners in 6 countries, will develop a benchmarking on the current quality assurance models and practices in each one of the countries involved and the necessary tools for the respective use and implementation. The products will be: (1) a Guide on quality assurance in VET will be elaborated (containing definitions and good practice examples, advantages of using European reference for QA procedures, working methods to implement the key issues and definition of criteria and indicators); (2) an implementation model for the European Common framework for quality assurance in VET, modular and containing the procedures descriptions, instruments, guides and standards; a communication and implementation structure over the web with databanks, tools, good practices examples and a laboratory for quality certification enabling the transfer of the model. To establish local networks the partners will promote in each respective region a quality Forum to which all relevant actors and potential stakeholders will be invited. The project is addressing all the relevant actors in VET like training providers, VET managers, human resources managers, trainers and teachers and policy makers either as primarily target groups but also as beneficiaries.
