VET for learning dificulties

The project VET for Learning Dificulties helped to the qualifications and expertise of lecturers of the Akropolis centre, who are involved in the training of social workers and workers in the helping professions whose target group is people with physical limitations with learning disabilities, autism spectrum disorders and others. The project took two years. Participants lead education courses with the theme of methods of work with the target group of persons with fewer opportunities, which include topics sensory stimulation methods work in a multisensory environment, and the inclusion of persons with physical limitations on the labor market etc. Mobility helped participants to gain knowledge and experience of good practice from abroad in the fields of education, which in the Czech Republic are not commonly used, but are neded. The project included a total of 5 activities - a total of 15 mobilities. The project partners were Worcester Snoezelen and Bridgwater College - both from the UK The outcome of the project is improving the qualifications of teachers, creation of new units in the educational assisting staff. This project has enriched the offer of education in this area. The outputs of the project were included in the training courses Introduction to working with learners / clients in a multisensory environment, Creation of multisenzory environment, the Conference snoezelen etc.
