The young people with disability often havent the opportunity to be members of youth organization, because of physical or mental barriers. "Very Normal People" is training course with the main aim to determine an improvement of the methods and practices of youth work in the direction of an inlusive education so that the organizations themselves can became promoters of the creation and the work with groups of young people with different abilities. It will be held in Palermo from 27th November 2016 to 3rd December 2016 and it will consist of a non formal educational path that will depart from the deepeningof topics as disabiity and the principles of social inclusion to come to delineate strategies and advices to adapt youth activities to integrated groups made of young people with different abilities; finally the participants will experience the acquired skills with a goup of local youth and they will transfer the acquired knowledge and skills at a local level by reporting on the project themes during a seminar to celebrate the Internationa Day of People with Disability. Therefore the traing course will be holistic: it will derive from the combination of Knowledge, skills and attitude and will be based on experiential activities, presentations, round tables, cooperative learning, practical experience.The participants to the training course will be 21 youth-workers or volonteers who supports the activities of 7 youth organizations based in Italy, Portugal, Estonia, Romania, Spain, Poland, Bulgaria."Very Normal People" aims to promote the exchange and acquiring of competences related to the use of techniques of inclusive youth work to work with integrated groups of young people among the participants, improving the inclusive features of the youth work implemnetd by the parteber organizations, promoting the implementation of inclusive projects by the partner organizations both at a local and at a transnational level and spreading the principles and the strategies of Very Normal People at a European level through the building of an on-line network where professionals and youth organizations can affiliate and exchange tools and activities, as long term benefit of the project. The acquired know-how will determine a greater openess of the youth organizations to the involvement of people with disabilities, an increasing nuber of inclusive projects and activities and a deeper cooperation among the partner organizations.
