During the project, 10 vocational teachers from vocational education institutions (Kaunas MPPMC, Utena RPMC, Vilnius TPVM and Šiauliai PRC) will participate in a week-long mobilities in vocational education instržitutions in Denmark - "Slagteriskolen", Sweden - "Ester Mosessons gymnasium, Estonia - "Tartu Kutsekariduskeskus", Norway - "Sandefjord Videregående skole". Mobilities will help to deepen teachers entrepreneurial competencies and knowledge. Aim of the project - to deepen vocational teachers knowledge and competencies of entrepreneurship, while shadowing the work process in hosting institutions and helping/assisting the mobility mentor. Needs of the project: -Up to date teacher, who is familiar with innovative European educational programs. -Improvement of entrepreneurial competences of VET teachers from different regions in Lithuania. -The need for ECVET development. -The development of intercultural competencies for VET teachers. -More effective entrepreneurial methods in vocational education "hands on" learning. Planned activities: -Vocational teachers mobilities, during which they will monitor the practical teaching process and the integration of innovative teaching methods (from product concept to its sale); -Assisting mentors, in their every day work, learn and gain knowledge from them; -Events/seminars involving employees of participant institutions and local businesses representatives, where the results of the project will be discussed; -Participants of the project will develop recommendations for the integration of entrepreneurship into practical training process. Results and Benefits: -Increased knowledge and competences of VET teachers in different regions of Lithuania will benefit the teaching/learning process; -Students trough learning process will gain entrepreneurial skills easily and will integrate it into the labor market, create new businesses; -Participating institutions will share "good practice" and adapt it in their institution; -Participants will develop recommendations for integrating entrepreneurship into practical training which will help other teachers to apply techniques in classes and practical sessions. Dissemination of the results: - Results of the project and the activities carried out during the mobilities will be discussed during the seminars in sending organizations; - Information on the project, activities,results and participants recommendations will be published in the sending partner websites; - Participants will use improved competencies during their work process - while teaching.
