Project’s direct participants – vocational training students of the following professions: equipment maintenance and monitoring business employee and small business services provider. Projects’ coordinator: Aukstadvaris Agricultural School Sending organizations: Silute Agricultural School and Kedainiai Vocational Training Centre Hosting organizations: Wisamar Bildungsgesellschaft gemeinnuetzige GmbH (Leipzig, Gemany), Pietrenere s.r.l (Rodi Garganico, Italy) ir IZI Ltd. (Valletta, Malta). Project’s main goal: to educate and improve professional and main common competences of equipment maintenance and monitoring business employee and small business services provider professions’ students, trying to increase their competitive abilities, entrepreneurship and better occupation possibilities. Other objectives: •to improve specific professional competences of participants •to educate main common competences (entrepreneurship, innovation, initiative skills) •to achieve better employment opportunities of the participants and improve perspectives of future career •to raise the level of participants’ self-confidence, self-esteem and sociability, to educate participants’ awareness and understanding of other cultures, tolerance •to improve foreign language and communicative skills Project participant’s professional requirements: •to acquire specific professional competences: -for small business services providers: be able to coordinate different activities in company, to know business organization peculiarities; to know about development of small business for tourists and recreation -for equipment maintenance and monitoring business employees: to be able to maintain chassis, transmissions and engines of German-made cars (in Germany); to be able to maintain chassis, transmissions, engines and body of city type cars (in Malta); to know about ways of gas emission reduction; to be able to do vehicles’ electronics diagnostics •to raise the level of main professional skills and competences, especially taking into consideration their correspondence to labor market and contribution to society •to acquire skills how to work in business environment, how to act in critical situations •to introduce with business organizing, activities schedule making, work culture •to acquire better occupation and employment opportunities, improve perspectives of future career •to achieve, that acquired competences would be recognized in whole EU •to acquire entrepreneurship skills, increase initiative skills, innovation skills and self-sufficiency Individual requirements of the participants: •to improve and deepen foreign language skills •to educate communicative skills in foreign environment, to acquire new professional contacts which may be useful in the future •to introduce with hosting country’s culture and history •to raise the level of self-esteem, self confidence and sociability •to raise the level of awareness, tolerance and understanding of other cultures •to increase motivation of studying and improvement Expected tangible project’s results: •Completed professional training under the internship program •Acquired internship’s evaluation certificates–Europasses, certificates of hosting organizations and project’s coordinator. Professional competences, acquired during the internship, are evaluated by ECVET methods •Made reports of internships Expected intangible project’s results: •Raised level of the participants’ professional competences according to their professional requirements •Improved practical skills of participants giving better integration possibilities in Lithuania’s EU’s labor markets •Raised level of participants’ self-confidence, initiative skills, innovations, entrepreneurship, sociability as well as tolerance and cultural awareness •Improved language and communication skills of participants As the evaluation of acquired and improved skills and competences, every participant will acquire: •Europass mobility document •Certificate of hosting organizations •Certificate of coordinating organization Project’s dissemination will be addressed to entrepreneurs, youth, local authorities and society of Trakai (Aukstadvaris is situated in Trakai district), Silute and Kedainiai and surrounding districts; present and future students of sending organizations, their parents, teachers and school’s community; potential trainees of hosting organizations. Methods of project’s dissemination: articles in web-pages and regional newspapers, stands and booklets about project, presentations of the internships and consideration of project’s results, informal environment. The project will be implemented in 2014 06 01–2015 05 31. During this period there will be 4 internships (total 36 participants): •two for equipment maintenance and monitoring business employee profession students in Germany and Malta, total 18 participant •two for small business services provider profession students in Malta and Italy, total 18 participants
