At this year's "European Forum Neumarkt - Student Edition 2015" from 17th to 24th of July 2015 young people have discussed the question, if there arises a lost generation or if there is hope for the europes youth? Students from Croatia, Hungary, Austria and Ukraine had the opportunity to deal at a high level with the burning questions of the EU like for example youth unemployment and employment policy, digitization, network policy and privacy or furthermore the issues of the Ukraine crisis and the Britain exit. The overarching goal of the week was to provide for the participants quality information related to european topics, which was guaranteed by a colorful mix of excellent speakers. This helped that the participants had the possibility during the meeting to learn and critically question the similarities and differences in the individual countries especially with regard to culture, politics, business and the media. In addition, the students was given the opportunity to exchange their ideas directly with local companies and to get in touch with them. This happened during different company visits like for example the trip to M & R Automotive with the topic of industry 4.0. The week was completed by a varied cultural program characterized of trips and excursions, among other things, on the Zirbitzkogel and the Hochosterwitz Castle.
