PROJECT
FINISHED
The aim of our school is to improve the abilities of educational use of technical media within our language lessons. One way to do so is to promote the integration of e-twinning. To ensure a certain level of quality it’s neccessary to extend the technical and linguistic competences of our teachers. We find it essential to set up modern ways of communication at our school to provide a regular exchange with international schools. The project is time-phased for one year and four teachers are chosen to participate. One teacher should take part in a "Tech"-Technology in the ELT Classroom in Great Britain to learn more about the use of different digital media and how to teach it. Two other teachers will apply for a Standard EU Teacher Training (ALM) to refresh and improve linguistic competences and to learn more about new teaching methods. An expert for the french language is also part of the team and would participate in a EU Standard Training in France. All four team members are asked to experience a stay abroad in a country of original language use. In addition they should have the possibility to connect and exchange with colleagues of international origin. We hope that the educational use of digital media and the chances that lie within internationalisation will make our lessons more motivating and have a long lasting effect on our students’ language learning process. Our aim is to enable a lasting international exchange of teachers and students from all over the world to promote an understanding and interest for other countries and cultures.
