Youth center Velenje is organization with long lasting experiences in youth field and with mission of working for and with youth. Through our program units (afternoon center for kids- SMO MC Velenje, Moj klub, regional multimedia center Kunigunda, eMCe plac, Pekarna, House of Bends, Hostel Velenje) we are implementing activities and projects on local and national level.Through Erasmus +/ mobility of young people- EVS we decided to give opportunity to learn and discover our organization to volunteers from Spain and Portugal.Our project is based on integrated learning of successful youth center and active work on program activities in program units, upgrading already existing projects and new projects. We also want to exchange ideas and good practice between sending and hosting organization.Volunteers will be involved in all program units; he will work with all employees on different projects in all units of MC Velenje. Activity will be long lasting, because we believe, that only in this way volunteers will get whole picture of work in our organization and will be able to get different competences. Experiences, that they will gain, they will be able to use in their future work in their sending organizations and later in their career in local environment or abroad.MC Velenje is working mostly on local level and here we want to create a change. Through volunteers projects and activities that they will attend, we want to connect all units of MC Velenje. With that we will raise quality of implementation of our projects and we will try to get interest of new volunteers.
