The project „Key to your development” which is planned to be implemented in the period from March 2016 to August 2017 envisages improvement of students` practical skills and acquiring new knowledge in Germany and Estonia. Students participating in the project are acquiring initial vocational training in the sphere of public catering, and through carrying out the project activities they will develop their skills and competences as well as competitiveness in the national and European labour market. The project will be implemented in 1 activity: in 4 flows 20 trainees (mostly children from needy families), including 5 school graduates who are not continuing education or are out of job. Cooperation partners are SALO Neue Zeiten in Germany and SALO Baltic in Estonia- organizations with years long experience in implementation of European mobility projects. Activities to be carried out: -selection of participants and interviews, -making and signing agreements between cooperation partners, -trainees` practice in workplaces, -monitoring and evaluation of the practice, -certification, - final reports (trainees and school), -dissemination and publicity of results. Project implementation will add 20 smarter and professionally better prepared new specialists to Latvian and European labour market and undoubtedly contribute to development of the field of public catering and economics in general.
