The goal is to learn skills in radio and video production by doing programs to www.radiovalo.fi. The participants will valorize the project by arranging and attending a Radio Valo event on 27.11.2014 in Finnish Parliament. The goal of the event is to bring forward the skills and abilities of people with learning disabilities in the fields of media and journalism. There is a European movement of independent media and a lot of young people are interested in media work. This project supports creating networks and productions focused in the field of media, thus diminishing the focus on disabilities. This project supports formation of inclusive networks where people with disabilities could co-operate with other people with interest of producing individual and indenpendent media productions. The project includes people with learning disabilities, support organisations and media organisations and professionals. The visit will include participation of FM radio shows in Helsinki.
