USEREC - Upgrading Self Reflective Competencies in SMEs
The project implements its activities and tasks from a reflective and iterative approach and strives to put in place a reflective hands-on learning pedagogical methodology in which learners interact directly with the IT business solutions within the learning process. This is tested in the context of the region of Archanes, Crete, GR, and validated in PL and DE, and in a Seminar on USEREC's thematic orientation. A total of 300 participants are engaged in the process (training, testing and validating). The partnership comprises of three RTD institutions, a Municipality, a Chamber of Commerce and a Consulting Firm. The partnership is of transnational nature where three partners are from Greece and three from outside the country. Both inward and outward transfer of innovation is implied from a geographical perspective. There is inward transfer from a sectoral point of view in that educational state-of- the- art approaches are being introduced to public administration and to Business Chambers. The channels of dissemination are: the project's web site, seminar, workplan and the partnership's networks. USEREC produces a set of Good Practice Guidelines to enhance awareness on its approach and results. All project outputs imply a constructivistic orientation to learning and supplement each other in defining a coherent and comprehensive orientation to the learning of SMEs and IT.
