The core of the transnational, German-Spanish youth initiative was to raise awareness of environmental problems and limited resources and to meet these challenges of the younger generation in a creative and positive way. The groups in Spain and Germany organised 20 workshops in both countries in which young people were informed about environmental issues and practically learned and developed new methods of upcycling. The workshops were recorded on video and posted in a blog. The results of the workshop were also gathered in a manual(toolkit for creative recycling), which descirbes how to make useful products out of common waste material.
