Volunteers will be engaged by Chance - Bildung, Jugend und Sport BJS gGmbH in the sphere of international youth work. Volunteers support Chance – Bildung, Jugend and Sport BJS gGmbH by the preparation, organisation and follow-up measures of youth meetings with different partners: Hungary, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Ukraine, Russia, Georgia, Moldova, Armenia, Azerbaijan. Chance - Bildung, Jugend, Sport BJS gGmbH organises in a calendar year approximately 10 youth meetings, which have different core themes: intercultural learning, intercultural communication, history alive, thinking differently - ecological project, media and theater workshops. During the EVS young people get to know all aspects of the project management, they deal with core themes of youth meetings and international team work. Volunteers will have by Chance – Bildung, Jugend und Sport BJS gGmbH the possibility to become acqainted with aspects of youth meetings during the project preparation phase, to integrate into the team, to get to know the city and to formulate their own ideas. During the implementation phase of an youth meeting the volunteer will fulfil his tasks in close supervision by one tutor by Chance – Bildung, Jugend und Sport BJS gGmbH. A volunteer fill during the EVS different roles: from a hospitant and intern ot an active project assistent. Each phase of his volunteer service will be evaluated and reflected with his tutor. The volunteer will keep a diary and comment on his learning experiences. It is also very important that the volunteer makes experiences with German language and culture.
