Scimitar 's goal is supporting individuals in the scientific sector (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics - in short STEM), who act as trainers/mentors to young people, to train them as a trainers. These people often work in the context of Corporate Social Responsibility, and the project will support them to do it more efficiently. The project will produce a training package designed to support and guide such mentors / trainers. The innovation of the project lies within its subject area, the strong sectoral level focus of its activity and the resulting training package which will meet a need to date not addressed and be structured so as to be accreditable and transferable. Social inclusion, flexible learning model, quality assurance procedures, credit based packages, are some of the main key concepts that the project intends to develop and transfer in the context of VET.
