United Europe - Youth against Nuclear Weapons

Project "United Europe - Youth against nuclear weapons" is the international youth exchange with 40 participants age 18 - 26 from Poland, Croatia, Lithuania, Slovakia and Romania. This youth exchange will take place on 07'th - to 14'th of August 2016 in Murzasichle and in Krakow, Poland. During project we will discuss dangers and risks associated with nuclear weapons while simultaneously promoting benefits of United Europe. We believe that it is the highest time that nations should give up on arming themselves start working on closer relations with other nations.. We believe that weapon and conflict -free Europe is a crucial element in the road to peaceful and nuclear free world. The main goal of the project is to streghten the relations between youth from various countries and to emphasize the role of united Europe. During 8 day lasting workshops we will resort to the methods of non-formal education (discussion, workshops, acitivities, international evenings). The effects of our project include: increase of awareness among youth in regards to dangers of nuclear weapons, promotion of diplomacy in resolving conflicts, and mobilization of youth. In the long-run youth should be motivated enough to further increase their knowledge about dangers of nuclear weapons by participating in social campaigns
