Understand and Prevent Violence among Youth – UviaYouth (HUSKROUA/1101/037)

The aims of the project are the common training of specialists (teachers from kindergarten up to high school level and volunteers) who deal with children and shaping a proper approach and to enlarge the methodological repertoire. Our main objective is to train them, so they could find solutions in their environment to prevent and handle violence. Second purpose is to develop intercultural understanding between Hungarian, Slovakian and Ukrainian partners. Participants gain awareness to recognize and manage as well minor as major conflicts in a boarder perspective.During the informal and non-formal education participants will share their own experience about youth violence. Multiplication of best practices will be required from every partner. Expected Results: Estimated results: trained teachers and volunteers are able to prepare, organize, settle and value purposefully the self-experienced experiential educational occasion that concerns with conflict management and focuses on social competences. The participants are able to attach the experiential educational activities to their violence preventing purposes. Through these trainees children learn how to deal with interpersonal and intergroup conflicts in solution-orientated and peaceful way.
