The project UNAMUNO II is a continuation of Network UNAMUNO approved under the Interreg III B program - Space Azores- Madeira - Canary . An initiative aimed at strengthening the competitiveness of universities in these territories and expand their ability to coordinate. This project involves other universities from outermost regions and meets the objectives of the European Union regarding complementary international agreements such as "Erasmus", "Socrates" and "Leonardo da Vinci". Rregular meetings between public, private and university representatives are foreseen, to facilitate • the exchange of information in education policy and research,• development of a fellowship program to promote the mobility of students,• implementation of joint projects with third countries,• seminars and workshops
