The project "A Sea of resources" is a youth exchange with the theme of the sea as a means of intercultural learning, as an environmental resource to be protected and as a generator of employment opportunities.It will take place in Sagunto (seaside town) from 18 to 24 July 2016 and will have the active participation of 30 young people from Italy and Spain, accompanied by leaders.The Italian partner institution (In Progress Calabria) has also presented in this call an exchange with the issue of communication in foreign languages and such activity would take place (in case of approval), in Italy the last week of June. The participants will also be 15 young people.Project objectives in reference to Erasmus + are:- Encourage young people to intercultural dialogue and cultural knowledge - Create opportunities for intercultural learning to break stereotypes and become aware of how these stereotypes affect their lives and their attitude;- Increase collaboration between youth and the labor market through measures to improve career prospects;- Increasing the international dimension of youth activities at the local level;- Raise awareness of European citizenship, participation in democratic life and work in Europe- Develop the 8 key competences- Empowering young people to be agents of positive change in society;- Promoting tolerance and appreciation of diversity as a source of wealth in multicultural societies;- Encourage mobility in Europe;- Improve learning skills through non-formal methods that stimulate their motivation to participate in future activities in the formal and non-formal field- To increase awareness of Youthpass and benefits of European projects
