The project intercultural and outdoor education offers young people the opportunity to do a volunteer service in the city Erfurt/ Thuringia. The projects main task is to educate children und youngster, mainly from low-income families, to topics of environment and sustainability. The educational program focuses to mountain social skills and spread specific knowledge. Through education young people, the future generation, will learn to take responsibility. In this consideration the volunteers work together with a young team of professionals and other volunteers. He or she will be included in educational activities, especially Workshops with children and youngster, to intercultural topics and outdoor education. As well the volunteer will organize one own projects and will have the possibility to propose individual knowledge and skills.With the intercultural experience the volunteer will be encouraged to refer to the european idea. As well as the in the educational program involved children and youngster could be sensitized to questions of participation. In that way the intercultural experience could influence there future perspectives and individual decisions to their future life’s.
